An exciting story that blurs the line between truth and mystery

The Man Who Came from Outer Space

After months of delay, the astronaut finally stepped out of his spaceship, which had landed on the surface of Mars. He was starving and dehydrated, as nothing on the trip had gone according to plan. His food and water had long run out, and he had lost his two colleagues.

The Earthman ran wildly across the Martian surface, desperate with hunger and thirst, hoping he might find some water or even a piece of plant to keep himself alive. Just as he was losing all hope, he suddenly reached a sandy field. Before him lay a stone surface on which a naturally formed miniature mountain range rose, and through its tiny valleys flowed a white, milky substance.
He rushed to the little stone mountain, threw himself on his stomach, and drank the white liquid directly with his mouth.

The taste was strange, unlike anything he had ever known. In that critical moment, he suddenly felt his head getting wet. When he lifted his face to the sky, he was struck by a sight beyond belief:
Above him stood a woman with unusually long legs. She had exposed her heavy, oversized breast — the only breast she possessed — which resembled a vessel made for producing milk. The milky liquid was pouring from it onto the tiny mountains below.

Since the Earthman lay on the ground between the mountain and the rain of milk, droplets naturally fell onto his head and neck. The moment he understood what he had just drunk, nausea overwhelmed him. Horrified by the fact that he had consumed the milk of a strange, one-breasted woman, he soon vomited everything he had just taken in.

After some time, when he felt slightly better, the dazed astronaut looked up at the woman again and found himself wishing he could die and be revived — only to escape being forced to drink that white substance again. At the same time, he noticed the woman was watching him with a warm, friendly smile.

He was about to rise when the long-legged woman suddenly approached him. She grabbed her single breast, squeezed it, and pumped a large stream of milk directly into his mouth. She repeated this several times. Shocked and helpless, the man lost consciousness for nearly half an Earth hour. When he finally awoke and sat up, he saw that the area around them had filled with strange men dressed in ancient Persian or Roman attire. They were speaking to each other with concern and anger, occasionally casting hostile glances at him.

Yet after these bizarre events, the man felt renewed strength and found he could easily stand. The surrounding men soon left the square in small groups. When they were gone, the one-breasted Martian woman glided toward him without moving her long legs at all, as if two pulleys or wheels had been installed beneath her feet. She stopped just two steps away.
The Earthman was stunned, unable to comprehend what was happening. With a swift movement, the woman grabbed his hand and pulled him along. He followed her like an obedient child, and as he looked up at her face, he thought she appeared slightly more beautiful and kind than before—though still impossibly tall.

....................................................

Soon, the Martian woman and the Earthling arrived before an enormous palace that resembled a whole city. Strange guards clad in black and dark purple armor stood before its massive gate. As a sign of respect, they slapped their foreheads twice with the backs of their clenched claws, their index and middle fingers pointing toward the sky.

But the one-breasted woman offered no reaction, not even a glance, dragging the Earthman behind her into the palace—or city. As he was pulled along in his semi-conscious state, he noticed the astonishing architecture: mysterious columns carved with intricate designs that seemed to tell extraordinary stories. He also saw that the palace had a curious roof; parts of the corridor were covered with a beautifully painted ceiling, while the middle section was open to the sky, lined only with shimmering bands of natural red stone. Strangest of all, the corridor they were walking through descended slowly into the depths below.

....................................................

After what must have been five or six Earth hours, the astronaut and the woman reached a magnificent hall. She finally released his hand so she could tuck her naked breast back beneath her unfamiliar clothing. As she did, the man — who had shown no fatigue until that moment — was suddenly overcome with exhaustion. But when she finished adjusting herself and took his hand again, his strength returned almost instantly.

She helped him sit on an elegant pink sofa patterned with countless tiny red flowers that looked alive. The man was captivated, thinking, “What an extraordinary color… truly beautiful.”
He was even more amazed when he noticed the sofa changing shape with each movement he made. At that moment, he realized the woman now had two breasts beneath her clothing, like an Earth woman. And when he looked at her face, he found her truly beautiful. Even more astonishing, she had shrunk to nearly his own size.

The spacious hall smelled wonderfully fragrant, filled with a strange sandalwood-like scent. Even stranger was the music—sweet, shifting in rhythm and pitch, yet foreign to Earth, almost like a Shostakovich sonata. The one-breasted woman with the unusual hairstyle and intense red coloring was nowhere to be seen.

The astronaut, brought to this planet by fate, wondered:
“What comes next? What am I supposed to do now?”

But his thoughts were interrupted as he saw the woman approaching again—this time walking on her feet, which were now normal in size, no longer gliding across the ground. She spoke to him in an Earth language he could understand:

“You are my man… Yes! How do they say it on Earth? Husband! You are my husband.”

The Earthman, feeling like a small child before this strange yet affectionate woman, asked,
“You understand our language?”

The former one-breasted woman, now so similar to Earth women, answered,
“I’m learning very quickly.”

The man asked cautiously—not from fear, but from not wanting to upset her—
“When did we get married?”

The Martian woman replied,
“In the marriage field, after you dared to drink my milk before the wedding ceremony!”

The wise but confused Earthling asked,
“Is that why the Martians looked at me so angrily?”

“Yes,” she answered simply.

“I’m glad they didn’t kill me,” the man said.
“You are wrong,” she replied. “They did kill you. But I brought you back to life, because you had already become my husband.”

What amazed him most was that despite all the trouble he had unknowingly caused, her face showed no anger or sadness. She still spoke with the same gentle tone and small, sweet smile.

The man realized he was not just attracted—he was falling deeply in love with her.

A strange but beautiful scent rose from her body. Everything on this planet was strange, yet enchanting. He felt he never wanted to leave, that time itself should stand still. But suddenly a question struck him. He asked:

“But earlier… you looked different…”

The fragrant Martian immediately replied:
“A Martian woman becomes whatever her husband desires after marriage. Now, I am a strange woman even to the Martians!”

Only hours earlier, he had nearly died of hunger and thirst. Now he stood in an aristocratic hall before a beautiful, fragrant woman whose form matched the ideal earthly image—and who claimed him as her husband because he had drunk her milk. On Earth, such an event would have signaled a mother–child bond.

He thought, “I love her so much. How can I tell her?”

Her smile softened. “That isn’t necessary. I already feel it. I am the one shaping the changes.”

Then she revealed something as strange as anything he had seen:

“On this planet, women are in charge.”

A shiver passed through him. “What if one day she changes her mind about me?”
She pretended not to have heard that thought.

....................................................

How long had he been here? One Earth year? Ten? More?
He felt entirely at the mercy of events, yet not angry—for his Martian wife never let him feel bored.

Amid these new, bewildering thoughts, he realized he had not slept since arriving. Surrounded by the strange music and sweet, shifting scents of the hall, he finally felt drowsy and closed his eyes…

....................................................

The ringing of an alarm clock shook him awake. He sat up in bed, confused, and slowly realized he was back in his home on Earth. Disoriented, he searched the apartment for his Martian wife but found no sign of her. After an hour he thought:

“Was it all just a dream? Is that possible?”

His heart grew heavy, and his emotions surged. He opened the window to get some fresh air, but the street’s noise and the hot, polluted wind only intensified his distress. He reviewed everything he’d experienced and told himself:

“No… impossible.”

Despair overwhelmed him and he suddenly fainted.

....................................................

Gradually, he heard a soft voice—pleasant and enchanting like a morning breeze drifting over summer blossoms. The scent was familiar. The music was familiar. The fragrance belonged to his Martian wife.

Moments later he opened his eyes and saw her face above him as she asked anxiously:

“My dear, what happened? Did you have a nightmare?”

Then she added:

“Don’t worry. From now on, you don’t need to sleep. Your spirit and your new body belong here.”

The man felt a peace deeper than anything he had ever known. He answered:

“Yes… I will never leave you again.”

....................................................

About 225 million kilometers away, in an apartment among millions of others in some city on Earth, the body of a man believed to have been dead for several days was found.
Silent. Calm. And profound.
